Sunnyside will be playing at home against Roosevelt at at 7:30 PM on Friday. Sunnyside are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Sunnyside had enough points to win and then some against Hoover last Friday, taking their contest 37-18.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Roosevelt, but their most recent game may have softened the blow. They put a hurting on McLane to the tune of 53-7. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Roosevelt, who can brag about three blowout wins.
Their wins bumped Sunnyside to 2-6 and Roosevelt to 6-2. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Roosevelt and Sunnyside will really light up the scoreboard.
