The Fairfield Falcons can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Central Christian Academy by a score of 46-38. Fairfield's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Among those leading the charge was Mikayla Pugh, who scored 29 points along with seven steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Fairfield's points. Rhylee Haskins was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 12 rebounds.
Fairfield's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-3. As for Central Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
