Tecumseh is 9-1 against Northmont since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Tecumseh Arrows will be staying on the road to face off against the Northmont Thunderbolts at 7:15 p.m. on January 22nd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After soaring to a 23-point victory in their last game, Tecumseh came back down to earth last Saturday. They fell just short of Jonathan Alder by a score of 51-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Tecumseh has suffered yet this season.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Northmont, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 52-35 loss to Miamisburg on Wednesday. Northmont has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tecumseh has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Northmont, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
Tecumseh was able to grind out a solid victory over Northmont in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 63-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tecumseh since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
