Basketball Recap: Shadow Ridge Piles Up the Points Against Tolleson

Shadow Ridge won the last time they faced Tolleson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Shadow Ridge Stallions breezed by the Tolleson Wolverines to the tune of 65-36. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Shadow Ridge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Danica Lindemann, who shot 7-for-11 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Clara Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards.

Shadow Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.1 points per game. As for Tolleson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

Shadow Ridge will venture away from home to square off against Chandler at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Shadow Ridge is facing Chandler at the right time seeing as Chandler is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Tolleson, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against San Luis at 7:00 p.m.
