Cambridge gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Pope Greyhounds, posting a 45-0 win. Cambridge was led to victory by Brooks Malone and Connor Langford. Malone rushed for 133 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries, while Langford threw for 193 yards and four TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Malone a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Andrew Marsden was another key player, picking up 91 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
