After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harvest Prep, the Fairfield Christian Academy Knights were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They put the hurt on Berne Union with a sharp 55-30 win. That's another feather in the cap for Fairfield Christian Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Fairfield Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to JP Vance, who scored 23 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Danny Blair, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Fairfield Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Berne Union, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairfield Christian Academy will challenge Fisher Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fisher Catholic comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Berne Union, they will head out on the road to face off against Grove City Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Grove City Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
