Columbus barely beat Riverton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans blew past the Rams 12-2 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won six games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Columbus and bumps their season record up to 10-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Riverton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Columbus will challenge rival Frontenac on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Titans 3.7, the Raiders 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Riverton is set to take on their familiar foe St. Mary's-Colgan on Thursday.
