The South Harrison Bulldogs entered their contest against the Trenton Bulldogs on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. South Harrison was beaten by Trenton 49-12. South Harrison lost against Trenton in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 48-0 score last time.
Trenton had a senior duo take command as Brayden Hughs rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries and Gabe Novak rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Novak was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards. Mason Rongey was another key contributor, throwing for 78 yards and a touchdown on only six passes.
South Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Trenton, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.
South Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Trenton is also done with their season.
