Meigs County were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Oneida 35-0. Fans of Meigs County have seen this all before: every one of Meigs County's games this year has ended as a stomp.
Meigs County added further sheen to their flawless record, now 8-0. The loss dropped Oneida's record to 5-3.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Next week Meigs County take on Polk County at 7:30 PM. Meigs County will be strutting in after a victory while Polk County will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for Oneida, they will face off against Bledsoe County. Neither Oneida nor Bledsoe County could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
