Bothell (Wash.) came into Saturday's contest ranked No. 4 in Washington, but was stunned by
Skyline (Sammamish, Wash.), 28-14. Skyline was ranked at No. 5 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for Washington coming into the week.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Kilton Anderson to
Derek Loville in the first quarter, the Spartans were up 21-0 at the half.
Both teams scored seven points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at 21 entering the fourth.
The loss snapped Bothell's six-game winning streak.
Skyline came into the game allowing 16.6 points per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 34-7 win for SHS.
