Softball Recap: Avon Wins Going Away Against Hall

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bristol Eastern, Avon was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hall Titans with a sharp 21-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Avon's win bumped their record up to 13-5-1. As for Hall, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Avon is set to take on their familiar foe Simsbury at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hall will face off against rival Lewis Mills at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
