Antwerp and Hicksville are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Antwerp Archers will head out on the road to face off against the Hicksville Aces at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Antwerp is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
After only 17 points in their last game, Antwerp made sure to put some points up on the board against North Central on Tuesday. Antwerp breezed by North Central at home to the tune of 55-25. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Antwerp has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Hicksville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 39-22 fall against Stryker. That's two games in a row now that Hicksville has lost by exactly 17 points.
Addie Sanders was Hicksville's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Ashlyn Steury held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.
Antwerp now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Hicksville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
