Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Kirk Academy Raiders walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 41-7 win over Winona Christian at home. The win was just business as usual for Kirk Academy, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.
Kirk Academy's win was their seventh straight at home , which pushed their record up to 11-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-10 Columbus Christian Academy and 3-8 Oak Hill Academy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 40.1% over those games). As for Winona Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Kirk Academy will face off against Riverfield Academy at TBD on Friday. Winona Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
