Haynes' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ike Ackerman, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 18 points and seven boards.
Lincoln High's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Omaha Central, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln High will head out to square off against Omaha North at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Omaha Central, they are taking a road trip to take on Lincoln Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Omaha Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
