Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Lexington Tigers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were outmatched by Pearl-Cohn on the road and fell 42-2. Lexington was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.
It was another big night for Javion Kinnard, who rushed for 134 yards. Kinnard's longest rush was for an incredible 98 yards. Pearl-Cohn also got help from D?arious Reed who showed off his sure hands for 112 receiving yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Lexington and nudges their season record down to 5-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.5 points per game. As for Pearl-Cohn, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pearl-Cohn will be playing at home against Station Camp at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Station Camp is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
