Softball Recap: Bartlett Has No Trouble Against Elmwood Park

Bartlett came out on top against Elmwood Park on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run fourth inning. The Hawks blew past the Tigers 12-4. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Bartlett has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Elmwood Park, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bartlett will face off against Waubonsie Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Elmwood Park, they will take on Payton College Prep at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
