Everything went the Panthers' way against the Genoa-Hugo Pirates on Friday as they made off with  a  48-27 win thanks in part to  Mauch, who threw for 174 yards and three  TDs, and also rushed for 95 yards and one  touchdown. He is  on a roll when it comes to  passing touchdowns, as he's  now  passed for three or more in each of the last six games he's  played.
 Special teams  played a big role in the game for Wiley, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Corbyn Williams, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

 Looking ahead, Wiley will face off against Manzanola at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Genoa-Hugo, they will challenge Hanover at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The Pirates will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.11  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
