The Covenant Christian Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Legacy Christian Academy Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy Christian Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Covenant Christian, who comes in off a win.
In what's become a running theme this season, Covenant Christian gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Providence Classical 59-5 on the road. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Covenant Christian had established a 48 point advantage.
It was another big night for Keeley Chaddick, who scored 15 points along with eight steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Alani Owens, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Legacy Christian Academy, who are still winless after their 12th game. They were outmatched by Allen Academy on the road and fell 57-21.
Covenant Christian pushed their record up to 17-12 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
Everything came up roses for Covenant Christian against the Warriors in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 64-20 victory. With Covenant Christian ahead 41-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
