The Westside Seminoles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 71-58 victory over West Laurens. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Joshua Harden was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 13 rebounds. He also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Christian Little, who scored 12 points.
Westside's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for West Laurens, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Westside will be home for the holidays to greet Upson-Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Laurens won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Telfair County at 1:00 p.m. on December 16th.
