While Grantsville might've come up empty on Thursday, Jordan Fawson wasn't going down without a fight. Fawson turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out eight batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Fawson and Grantsville will face off against Ridgeline at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Fawson's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Cowboys' four-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Fawson and the Cowboys surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
