The win bumped Concord-Carlisle's record up to 3-2. The loss dropped Newton South's record to 2-4.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Concord-Carlisle take on Boston Latin at 7:00 PM. As for Newton South, they will face off against Bedford. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
