On Friday, Ash Fork escaped with a win against Patagonia by the margin of a single free throw, 22-21.
Ash Fork found their leader in underclassman Gracie Staples, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Ash Fork's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Patagonia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Ash Fork will face off against Ray at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ray comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Patagonia will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Willcox at 5:30 p.m. on December 4th. Willcox is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
