Softball Recap: River Falls Wins Going Away Against Baldwin-Woodville

After losing to Baldwin-Woodville the last time they met, River Falls decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Blackhawks on Friday.

HUDSON WALKER looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.

At the plate, CATELYN MOE was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was DANI POELLINGER, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

River Falls was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

River Falls' win bumped their record up to 3-1.

River Falls and Baldwin-Woodville will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wildcats will challenge rival New Richmond at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Baldwin-Woodville is set to face off against their familiar foe Altoona at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
