The Jones County Greyhounds will head out on the road to square off against the Jackson Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Jones County, who comes in off a win.
After failing to score in their last matchup, Jones County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Central on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over the Chargers. Brendan Waters was a massive factor in the win, as he booted in three goals all by himself.
Meanwhile, Jackson couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Lamar County by a score of 2-1.
Jones County fell to Jackson 2-0 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Jones County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
