Hickory Ridge blew past Concord, posting a 88-16 win at home. That's another feather in the cap for Hickory Ridge, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Hickory Ridge can attribute much of their success to Katie Woodward, who scored 27 points. Miranda Duley was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Hickory Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Concord, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Hickory Ridge will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Northwest Cabarrus at 1:00 p.m. As for Concord, they will head out on the road to face off against Carson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Carson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 on Tuesday.
