Ninety Six had won three straight games and Janiyah Squire did her part to make it four on Friday. The Ninety Six Wildcats walked away with a 43-35 victory over the American Leadership Academy Patriots thanks in part to Squire, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ninety Six's points.

Ninety Six pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for American Leadership Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Ninety Six wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-35 defeat against Saluda on the 25th. As for American Leadership Academy, they will host Pelion at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
