Softball Recap: High Tech SD Has No Trouble Against Hoover

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against La Jolla, High Tech SD was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Hoover Cardinals with a sharp 19-4 win. The Storm might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by nine runs or more this season.

Alexa Aranda was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Ruby Parkin, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and one RBI.

The victory got High Tech SD back to even at 9-9. As for Hoover, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

High Tech SD will face off against Kearny at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hoover, they will welcome La Jolla at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season.
