Turner Sanderson ran for five touchdowns to lift
Smithville (Miss.) to a 52-20 beat over Houlka (Miss.).
After taking the lead on a
J.T. Pitts touchdown run in the first quarter, the Seminoles led 31-20 at the half.
Smithville expanded its lead to 32 points entering the fourth quarter. SHS scored three times in the third, including once on a Sanderson touchdown run.
Pitts and Sanderson ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Wildcats.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 21-12 win for the Seminoles.
With the win Smithville extended its winning streak to three games.
Houlka (1-7) goes up against Vardaman in a 1A Region 1 game matchup next week, while Smithville (6-1) locks horns with Tupelo Christian Prep also in a 1A Region 1 game.
