The Pickens County Tornadoes entered their tilt with the Marion County Red Raiders with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Pickens County enjoyed a cozy 34-15 victory over Marion County on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pickens County also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Kemaurion Plott was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 88 yards on only five carries, and also threw for 89 yards and two touchdowns.
Pickens County's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Marion County, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 5-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pickens County will challenge Addison at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. As for Marion County, they will head out on the road to face off against Hackleburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Hackleburg's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.
