Lawrence County hasn't had much luck against Curry recently, but that could start to change  on Monday. The Lawrence County Red Devils will square off against the Curry Yellowjackets at 4:30  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Lawrence County is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. Everything went their way against West Morgan on Thursday as Lawrence County made off with  a  17-6 victory. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  win against them.

The team  relied heavily on  Alivia Templeton, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, four  runs,  and five  RBI. Those  four  runs gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Tilleigh Allen, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 Lawrence County  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most two  strikeouts in three consecutive  matches.
Meanwhile, Curry entered their tilt with Pike Road on Friday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp  11-3 victory.
 Brooklyn Morton looked comfortable as she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't  given up  a single  walk in six consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Madie Gross was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI.  Alyssa Teel was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 Lawrence County's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Curry, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.
 Lawrence County suffered a grim  12-6 defeat to Curry  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024. Can Lawrence County avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
