The Taylor County Vikings stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Webster County, posting a 60-6 win on the road. The victory was nothing new for Taylor County as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Leading Taylor County to victory were Da'laila Lowe and Jaydah Ford. Lowe scored 14 points, while Ford almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Ford is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last eight games she's played. Jordan Towns was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Taylor County pushed their record up to 21-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Webster County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-17.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taylor County's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 507th, while the Vikings are ranked 137th). As for Webster County, they will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Marion County is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
