There's no place like home for Hays, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Liberal Redskins on Thursday. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redskins, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19.

Molly Buckles paced Hays' offense, picking up six kills. Buckles were helped by Brooke Bieker and Sylvia Johnson, who contributed nine assists each. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Hays' win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Liberal, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Hays has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Abilene on the 2nd. Liberal has also already played their next contest (against Newton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
