4A District 7 recap November 13, 2013
Robbie Stroub and Justin Hunter provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Johnson Central. The connection went for 86 yards, the longest such play in 4A District 7 this season.
Covington Catholic added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Rowan County, 41-14. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Colonels.
Ben Dressman provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Covington Catholic beat the Vikings. He completed 9 passes for 125 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 142 yards. Dressman's favorite target this week was Mitchell Rensing, who caught 3 passes for 64 yards.
Hunter was the best wideout in the league this week as Harrison County lost to the Golden Eagles. Hunter racked up 6 receptions for 123 yards. Grant Carr helped Harrison County's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 29 yards.
The Thorobreds' Stroub and Hunter led 4A District 7 in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Stroub has thrown for 1,818 yards this season, while Hunter has 44 catches for 776 yards. Dressman from David Wirth's team leads the league in rushing with 626 yards.
Highlands took down Boyd County 70-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
