The Wahoo Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Nebraska City 96-47 at home. Winning may never get old, but Wahoo sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Marcus Glock continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Dylan Simons was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Despite the loss, Nebraska City still got an impressive performance from Keston Holman, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Adanza, who scored seven points along with two steals and two blocks.
Wahoo pushed their record up to 11-2 with that victory, which was their 19th straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.79 points. As for Nebraska City, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.
Wahoo will be playing at home against Ralston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ralston will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while Wahoo is ranked seventh). Nebraska City's road trip will continue as they head out to face Plattsmouth at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th.
