The Council Rock North Indians''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Council Rock South, falling 55-14. While losing is never fun, Council Rock North can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while Council Rock South is ranked 118th).
Chase Myers was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Myers is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shane Myers, who rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.
Council Rock North's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Council Rock South, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
Council Rock North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Council Rock South is on the road again on November 4th and play against Downingtown West at 7:00 p.m. on November 4th. Downingtown West will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
