Heavener was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Arkoma Mustangs. On the bright side, the four- run effort marked the Wolves' highest-scoring game to date.

Heavener's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Arkoma, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Heavener didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against McCurtain on the 14th. As for Arkoma, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Pocola on the 13th.
