Frankfort faced Robert C. Byrd in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Falcons blew past the Eagles 15-1. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Rhett Sensabaugh and Lanson Orndorf made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Sensabaugh pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Orndorf pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. At the plate, Sensabaugh went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Orndorf got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

In other batting news, Jesus Perdew was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jacob Nething, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Frankfort was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Robert C. Byrd only posted a batting average of .118.
