Last Tuesday, High Point came up short against Northwestern and fell 62-54. High Point has not had much luck with Northwestern recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ibrahim Turay, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. It was the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kadan Solomonraj, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, DuVal scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Northwestern, posting a 95-26 victory at home. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded DuVal with their most commanding win of the season.
High Point's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-18. As for DuVal, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
