 Woodland was led to victory by  Chloe Nelson and  Kate Fricke.  Nelson  had 27  digs and four  aces, while  Fricke  had 17  digs, 13  kills,  and one  block. Those  27  digs gave  Nelson a new career-high.
Having lost for the first time  this season, Yuba City  fell to 2-1. As for Woodland, their win was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-2.
 Coincidentally, Yuba City and Woodland will both be playing Pioneer the next time they take the court. The Honkers will  host the Patriots at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday, while the Wolves will head out to face them  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
