Sahuarita's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Karol Ortiz, who scored 19 points along with five assists and five steals. Ortiz has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Camila Villalobos, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Sahuarita's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-8. As for Walden Grove, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
