The Tuckahoe Tigers won against the Woodlands Falcons two weeks ago with 34 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Tuckahoe enjoyed a cozy 34-20 victory over Woodlands. Given Tuckahoe's advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 237th, while Woodlands is ranked 526th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Jax Colacicco, who threw for 227 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Jackson Snyder also helped out with an impressive 117 receiving yards.
The win makes it two in a row for Tuckahoe and bumps their season record up to 4-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-6 Woodlands (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 25% over those games). As for Woodlands, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Tuckahoe will be playing in front of their home fans against Dobbs Ferry at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Woodlands, they will head out on the road to face off against Haldane at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
