Leah Fulton was another key contributor, scoring four points along with nine rebounds and five assists.
North Adams typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Cincinnati Country Day proved too difficult a challenge. They strolled past the Green Devils with points to spare, taking the game 58-39. With that victory, Cincinnati Country Day brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Cincinnati Country Day's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Megan Zimmerman led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Zimmerman has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Zimmerman, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Roger Bacon's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Cincinnati Country Day, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Roger Bacon have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 27.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Cincinnati Country Day struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 26.2 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
