Mikayla Pelegreen made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Olivia Tonkovich was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Kara Blackburn was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs.
Harrison Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Philo only posted a batting average of .250.
Harrison Central has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Philo, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-15.
As of now, neither Harrison Central nor the Electrics have any future games scheduled.
