Basketball Game Preview: River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats vs. Warren Warriors

River Ridge/Scales Mound is a perfect 10-0 against Warren since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats will host the Warren Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

River Ridge/Scales Mound is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Stockton: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that River Ridge/Scales Mound blew Stockton out of the water with a 56-29 final score. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Laiken Haas continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 14 points and ten assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. Kenley Patterson was another key player, going 5-for-10 on her way to 14 points and five rebounds.

Warren played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They managed a 51-47 win over West Carroll. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Thunder recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

River Ridge/Scales Mound has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games. As for Warren, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 7-16.
