If University Christian was feeling good fresh off their 51-21 takedown of Millers Creek Christian back in December of 2024, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The University Christian Barracudas took a 50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Triad Baptist Christian Academy Titans on Tuesday. The Barracudas' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

University Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Ellie Adams and Kinsley Tompkins. Adams posted 12 points and five rebounds, while Tompkins scored 12 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Kayla Covington, who earned six points.

Triad Baptist Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Morgan Harrelson out in front who had 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Harrelson has scored at least a third of Triad Baptist Christian Academy's points. Ryleigh Collins was another key player, putting up 12 points and five steals.
