The Hackett Hornets will be playing at home against the West Fork Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Hackett was the victim of a tough 34-13 defeat at the hands of Charleston.
Hackett's defeat came about despite a quality game from Cole Ketchum, who threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns. Ketchum was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards. Wyatt Hester also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, West Fork's five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They blew past Cedarville 44-0 at home. West Fork's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.
West Fork's win bumped their season record to 2-6 while Hackett's loss dropped theirs to 4-3.
Hackett was dealt a bruising 42-0 defeat at the hands of West Fork when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Will Hackett have more luck at home instead of on the road?
