Valley was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. Everything went their way against the Bryce Valley Mustangs as they made off with a 16-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Buffalos, who have now won five contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Bronx Withers was excellent, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances while posting 1 home run, 3 runs, and 2 RBIs. The two RBIs were his most since August 28th, when he brought in two vs. Green River.

Valley took the easy way to first and finished the game with 16 walks. That's the best they've done in that category all season.

Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The victories were made possible by their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Bryce Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Tintic at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buffalos are facing the Miners at the right time seeing as the Miners are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bryce Valley, they will head out to take on Piute at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Thunderbirds have now posted at least 10 runs every time they've taken the field this season.
