Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dermott). They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 73-24 victory over the Arkansas School for the Deaf Leopards. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 56th, while the Leopards are ranked 380th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the third in a row for Dermott, bringing their record for this year to 11-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Arkansas School for the Deaf, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Dermott and Scott Charter will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dermott is facing Scott Charter at the right time seeing as Scott Charter is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Arkansas School for the Deaf, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 82-43 loss against Brinkley on the 18th.
