After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverside, Hudson was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Solon Comets by a score of 3-1. The Explorers haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Hudson walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 16-25, 25-13, 25-18.
Maddy Dearstine paced Hudson's offense, picking up 14 kills. Dearstine got some help from Maribeth Slater and her 16 assists. Dearstine was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.
