Pleasant Grove's victory was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.0 points per game. As for Spring Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.
Pleasant Grove will be playing at home against Rusk at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Rusk will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 274th, while Pleasant Grove is ranked 61st). As for Spring Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Van at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
